Michael Meade

Michael Meade is a storyteller, author and scholar of mythology, anthropology and psychology. He combines hypnotic storytelling, street-savvy perceptiveness and spellbinding interpretations of ancient myths, along with a deep knowledge of cross-cultural rituals. He has an unusual ability to draw on ancestral sources of wisdom and connect them to the stories people are living today.

Meade is the creator of the Living Myth Podcast, a weekly program that reaches a diverse and growing audience in over 150 countries. His books include Awakening the Soul, The Genius Myth, Fate and Destiny, Why the World Doesn't End and The Water of Life, as well as The Heart of Transformation, which explores transformation as the way of the world and the mystery at the heart of each soul.

He is the founder of Mosaic Multicultural Foundation, a nonprofit network of artists, activists and community builders that encourages greater understanding between diverse peoples. Its work draws on decades of hands-on work in healing and transformation, bringing the medicine of myth and story to the troubles of both culture and nature. It holds that each person, regardless of age or background, is imbued with genius and can contribute to a transformation of life on Earth. Participants learn to turn personal struggles and traumas into creative expressions that give meaning and purpose to their lives and strengthen human community.

Meade has also led retreats and gatherings alongside poets and musicians, on themes of finding gifts, healing wounds and following paths with heart.
