The Ancient Thread
For as long as humans have walked this Earth, we have gathered like this — making music beneath open sky, dancing around fires, singing together, passing sacred rites hand to hand across generations. Different names, different lands, the same ancient knowing: we come alive when we are together. BlessFest is that birthright, reclaimed. Come remember what your body already knows.

The Land
BlessFest Hawaiʻi 2027 arrives at Kalani — a beloved, iconic eco-retreat center nestled in the coastal lowland mesic forests along the enchanting Red Road of Puna, Pāhoa. This is hallowed ground: fragrant with tropical blossoms, shaded by native Hawaiian plant life, humming with a wildness that gets under your skin and stays there. Few places on Earth carry the kind of elemental charge that the Big Island holds — volcanic, ancient, alive in ways that defy ordinary language.
We gather here in full awareness that this ʻāina was forcibly occupied in 1893, that the native people were never made whole, and that Kānaka Maoli are a sovereign people who never ceded their sovereignty. Their right to self-governance, culture, and ʻāina endures. BlessFest is deeply honored to facilitate educational workshops helping us bridge the gap between cultures.
To step onto this land is to accept an invitation to listen, to honor, and to be in reciprocity.
