Olo Center stands at Päivärinteentie 10 in Enonkoski, in Finland's Lake District. Its own pages place it in the heart of Kolovesi National Park. The centre describes itself as a multidimensional experience you descend into, not just a place to sleep. Its manifesto offers one line to guests: come as a guest, leave as a friend.
The house is built of logs, and the pages credit that with exceptionally good indoor air. There are seven rooms: the Pisara and Kulta suites, each with a private bathroom and tub, the Kookos, Lupiini, Tuohi and Luola rooms, and the Himmeli single. Every bed has natural-fibre bedding and every bathroom has cotton towels. The Luola room was designed for withdrawing into contemplation. Guests share a meditation and yoga hall, a library, a glass porch, a garden and a large yard.
The sound work is what sets the programme apart. The Acoustic Body® approach begins from a musician's image: the body is an acoustic instrument, the nervous system is its string tension, and the emotions are the chords. Sessions with Catarina Brazão, a social worker and somatic educator with over twenty years of individual and group practice, run on site or online in English, Portuguese and Spanish. A 60-minute Sound Journey offers a listening experience built around audio stories.
Outside, the pages point to Ihamaniemi, a lesser-known corner of the lakeland, along with Saimaa, a picnic on a private island and 7,000-year-old rock paintings. Guided kayak trips run two to five days with guide Tuure, and there are foraging and garden workshops, a wood-fired sauna and winter outings. The kitchen cooks seasonally, blending Nordic and Mediterranean dishes from local organic produce, some grown in the centre's own garden. In summer 2026 the centre is open only for private retreats and group bookings of eight or more.
